I recently photograph a architecture firm’s new office in New Mexico they transformed a walk-in ice cream freezer into a cool repurposed office! WAMO Studio architects Vahid Mojarrab and Carol Ware recently moved into an old Taos Cow Ice Cream freezer in Santa Fe that they transformed.

Very impressive office space, great photos too. Did they mention where and how they got the freezer? I’d guess they bought it at a restaurant closing auction or something similar, wonder what they paid for something like that. Anyway great post!
Doesn’t it get cold in there?? OK, OK, sorry, couldn’t help myself! One of the greatest repurposing ideas I’ve seen and it looks like it’s still a work in progress. I also like the outside table and chairs. The at looks like a birdbath pedestal with a concrete top. The chairs were probably salvaged reasonably as well. What an ingenious way to start a new business with limited startup capital instead of a very expensive monument building that would take years to pay for.
